The systemic approach of ebusplan defines vehicles and charging infrastructure cost and reliability optimized. We take into account operational aspects (e.g. vehicle schedules), geographic factors such as the road network, the current and future state of the vehicle and battery technology as well as the charging infrastructure including necessary electricity grid connections. These factors define the conditions for the optimization of the battery capacity in the buses and the positioning and connection of the power charging stations.
We offer unique planning and design tools, which we either apply for our customers within engineering services or we generate an individual version for and make it self-applicable by training. Instead of tedious manual interpretation of the individual routes of the entire bus network the (partial) network is simulated for a variety of electrification scenarios to determine feasibility and costs as well as the system design by using efficient algorithms. The cost-related relationships between technical design and operational planning are transparent and individually tailored so that turnkey solutions are achieved.
In addition, our tools enable our customers to take into account constraints such as the limited range and the positioning and availability of charging infrastructure in the vehicle scheduling - with the lowest possible adjustments to their established planning processes and without changing their current scheduling tools.
