Electric buses soon in Duisburg

Based on the feasibility study carried out by ebusplan for DVG (Duisburger Verkehrsbetriebe AG, bus operator in the german city of Duisburg) regarding the electrification of buses in Duisburg, one line for future operation with electric buses could already be selected in 2018. The funding of the vehicles required for this purpose was successfully applied for, with the result that DVG was promised financial support from the Federal Ministry of the Environment and the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR, the public transport association covering the area of the Rhine-Ruhr conurbation in Germany). Thus, seven new electric buses will be rolling through Duisburg in the future.

In the current tendering process, ebusplan continues to actively support the company.
